Cloud Naan Sundance: Authentic Pakistani Naans & Chai in Calgary’s Southside

I had a great experience at this newly opened South location of Cloud Naan. Their naans are as good as they were when they first opened up in downtown Calgary. The staff here is very polite and knowledgeable - they ask about your taste and recommend options that really match what you're looking for. I wanted something cheesy, and they suggested the Lotza Mozza. We also tried the Malai Chicken Boti naan (half-and-half). Both were delicious and perfectly cheesy. What I liked the most is that the cheese wasn't fatty, oily, or greasy like you often get on pizza. The balance between the dough and the filling was ideal — a thin but flavourful layer of dough with just the right amount of filling. You can also clearly taste that the chicken was grilled; it even had a slight charcoal flavour, which was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place for quick, tasty food!

The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Every dish was well prepared and served on time. What really stood out was Gill’s management—very professional, organized, and friendly. The staff was attentive and made sure everything was comfortable throughout the visit. The overall atmosphere was clean and welcoming, which made the experience even better. You can truly see the effort put into both the food quality and customer service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and excellent management. Will definitely be coming back again. I am vegetarian, and the food was prepared with great care, keeping hygiene in mind.

Amazing filled Naans and Chai just like Karachi Style. From walking in to walking out amazing! Very Welcoming by the owner, with full service. I would highly recommend this place to all my family and friends, and will definitely be back for late night snacking. Glad to have Pakistani restaurant in south Calgary especially near my house.

So excited they opened a location in the south end! Their stuffed naans savoury or sweet are always so delicious! I love having the Dum Keema and switching the raita with their garlic dip! Tried the birria naan this time and it was delicious along with the broth! And their chai is to another level I love how they brew it for a long time which enhances the tea strength and the creaminess from the milk, otherwise lots of places make their chai quick and it doesn’t taste good!

Absolutely delicious. I've had my eye on this place waiting for it to open for so long, they had quite a dramatic delay but up and running now. Yum yum in my tum tum. Can't wait to try the whole menu. Definitely try the chicken tenders, the garlic dip is Beautiful oven

This restaurant is amazing! The food was delicious, and the staff were so nice. Waqar took my order and was super helpful.
